SoggyBottom Campground and ATV Park

This popular 350 acre, fun filled family campground is located in the heart of the Historic Far West Community in Caldwell County, near Cameron, Missouri. Once a working farm, now this property offers an abundance of family fun such as camping, hiking, ATV riding, fishing, and much more.

Running through the SoggyBottom Camp Wetlands are 3 miles of Shoal Creek.  This is the largest stream in Caldwell County and the early settlers built most of their mills on this very stream.  Our campers enjoy exploring and fishing on this creek.

A restored 1940's Kentucky Fire Tower  was erected in 2012 here on the property.  This tower stands six stories tall, oversees miles of Missouri woodlands, and is rich with history of its own.

Campground amenities include seasonal showers and Porta Johns as well as a 320 sq. ft. open air shelter located in the Prairie Hilltop RV area.

This shelter can be used for any number of activities.  From time to time we'll have a band play music for everyone's enjoyment.  BTW, don’t forget to check out our Special events  page and of course, for the most updated information find us on Facebook!!

Thank you for checking us out.  Enjoy the beautiful pictures as you cruise through our website.  SoggyBottom Camp is where you want to relax and recharge yourself.  Get off the beaten path and come enjoy the great outdoors.  Make us your destination spot.  We look forward to meeting you this year!

Sincerely,

Greg and Debbie Cox
